# Partner configuration

> Manage your partner's defaults and country restrictions.

These calls use your partner secret.

## Read or update defaults

Read your configuration with [`GET /v1/partner/config`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/partner-configuration/get-partner-config) and change it with [`PATCH /v1/partner/config`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/partner-configuration/update-partner-config). You can set the locale, the default currency and the blocked currencies. `blockedCurrencyIds` replaces the whole list, and sending `null` for the default currency clears it.

## Manage country blocks

[`GET /v1/partner/config/countries`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/partner-configuration/list-partner-country-blocks), [`PUT /v1/partner/config/countries/{countryCode}`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/partner-configuration/block-partner-country) and [`DELETE /v1/partner/config/countries/{countryCode}`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/partner-configuration/unblock-partner-country) manage the countries that your partner blocks. They affect only blocks that you added. They do not remove Sinbad's global restrictions.

## Show the effective policy

Combine [`GET /v1/countries`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/reference-data/list-countries) and [`GET /v1/currencies`](https://docs.getsinbad.com/api-reference/reference-data/list-currencies) to show the customer the policy that applies to them: Sinbad's global rules and your own.
